Singapore and other economies compared

How is Singapore doing compared with other economies? Not bad at all. Here is a chart from The Economist showing the rise or fall in GDP, consumer prices and unemployment in various countries since last year.

    DO you mean that just because we are a little better than Turkey and Italy and the same as Britain and Sweden but have lower GDP growth for this year than any other country we are not doing too badly???
    The real unemployment statistics are quite different – try checking for “resident” or “citizen” unemployment which excludes those who have to leave the country after losing their jobs and you will have a better idea of what is really going on
