Obama and Singapore PM Lee at dinner

Obama brought forward his departure from Japan to arrive in Singapore just in time to join the other Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) Summit leaders at the Singapore Evening at the Esplanade, reported Singapore's Channel NewsAsia.

Greeted by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Esplanade, Obama joined world leaders for a glittering dinner.

Singapore designer Wykkid Song created the Peranakan-inspired (a cultural mix of Chinese, Indian and Malay) attire – a mandarin=collared linen shirt for the men and a sarong kabaya in silk for the women.
