The most popular Singapore websites (II)

Singapore Pools and not DBS Bank was the top Singapore website followed by HardwareZone in June, according to Hitwise, which monitors web traffic in a different way from Alexa. In fact, DBS was nowhere in the top 20 list of Hitwise, which says it samples 1.5 million Internet users in Singapore. Singapore has a population of 4.59 million, according to the Singapore Department of Statistics. And 74 percent of the households have Internet access, according to the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, which says 79 percent of the households have computers.
 

Here are the figures from Hitwise, which says: “This list features the most popular websites based on Singapore Internet usage for June, 2008, ranked by market share of visits across all Hitwise industries.”
